Solved What are these and how do I get rid of them

    I have a lot of what is attached in both ends of my back garden.I used to get a few but there are a lot this year.Can someone tell me what they are and what I need to do to get rid of them.I have just sprayed them with roundup.     Fungus,possibly coming from the wood you have there. No way of stopping them, they will disappear pretty soon in any case,once their spores have been released. They are harmless and since they have no chlorophyll Round up will have no effect on them.

      Harmless toadstools, not worth bothering with.
      Yep, agree, coming from the wood set in the ground.
