Solved What are these orange eggs at plant's roots?

    hallo,

    transplanting into a bigger pot, i noticed these orange eggs in a cluster at the roots -- any idea what they are: friend or foe?

    Looks like controlled release fertiliser to me.
    Nothing suspicious.

        Agree with Pete but...is it a new plant or one of yours that you're potting up, if it's one of yours then can you remember using the slow release? Just a thought :scratch:.

        Slug and snail eggs are clear in my experience, but other than that very similar, so easily confused until you see both.
