I have a 70m long exposed perimeter fence which i hope to overcome by planting 'Fargesia Robusta Campbell' Bamboo along the border. Hopefully it will provide a screen to give us some privacy. Also i would like a bash at building a garden pond :)

Sounds good John. I'm not doing anything spectacular. I'll have another go at growing tomatoes this year as well as filling my pots and containers with lots of bee friendly plants so that garden has lots of colour...and bees!

Hopefully we will be building our pergola this year and I hope to make a mosaic in front of my shed too.

I am part way through building a gazebo and raised deck (amazing how many rules apply for them)

Re fence my half blown over fence and posts

Did out mound with junk dug in (thankyou previous neighbour buried instead of thrown)

For 2015 my project is to watch it all grow and stop interfering for a year!

Finishing off the little barn we've built to store fruit and veg.
Moving some big, heavy old beams that used to hold up the roof to make border retaining edgings on the most steeply-sloping bits. We should have terraced properly right from the start, but just didn't realise how difficult watering is on a slope!
Putting a hard floor in the chicken hut, with a small ditch around it. The chooks are developing webbed feet at the moment :chicken:

Making a heat bench using a heat cable for my home made 'greenhouse'. Actually this is what brought me to this forum in the first place, must hunt down the thread!

Planting along one boundary for wind protection while keeping it decorative.

Continuing to establish beds I mulch and don't walk on for veg and flowers.

                  Continuing to put in stuff

20150208_171616.jpg my wonderful dad got one side of the new fence done today :) slowly on the way to a useable garden, without being too overlooked by neighbours.

I feel very lucky, my dad is a carpenter and works for a building company. Has all the tools and is more than happy to help his daughter :)
The bottom fence will be the same as in the picture but keeping the fence between us and the neighbours as it is as we get on with them and don't feel as though we need the higher fence up.

I've got a mammoth task this yr, turning my garden into something I can use and enjoy instead of being overwhelmed whenever I step into it :dunno:
