Solved What geranium is this please?

I know its a hardy variety and comes back year on year. Its leaves are almost furry. Its flowers don't last as long as Rozanne and are not so abundant.

 

Best guess 'rosemoor'

2. No mention of hairy/furry leaves. Deeply lobed.

Had not heard of 'rosemoor' but due to the hairy leaves I think that's what it is. Thanks all.

Nope, no mention of 'JB' being hairy in my Peter Yeo book either, but 'Rosemoor' is described as "very hairy".

 

I got geraniums that look just like yours @cindy . Planted by previous owners. They are popular with the pollinators. I cut mine back when they've finished flowering and they reflower again late August/ early September.

 

Mine have pretty much finished flowering and although the leaves are interesting I think I'll cut them back. Unless anybody tells me otherwise I will cut ALL of it including the foliage ???? as I really want more flowers. I always find this difficult to do as I hate creating a gap. There does appear to be new growth around the base as far as I can see.

 

Don’t have any concerns Cindy....cut all the foliage off, feed and water and it will flower again quite soon and prob will do until autumn
You will find lots of fresh new growth in a few days or so
