    I was watching a programmme on history, which encompassed the development of the WWW. The thought crossed my mind what if Sir Tim Berners-Lee had not taken the unusual step of making his invention free - no royalties, no patent dues, and no restrictions.
    What would our IT world look like now, if he hadn't.
    Am boggling a bit about this as I am so used to - and value what is.
    What do you think it would look like.?
