Due to over doing it yesterday I have been chilling in the gazebo since 7 O'clock this morning,in March.
There are spider webs in the down pipes it is that long since it last rained!:gaah:
I took the cloche of my peas yesterday and it looks like someone has planted a load of hemp/cannabis plants under there:huh:the peas have come through nicely though.Must be from the bird seed?
Why do flower seeds take so blinking long to grow on after germinating?I need the space for food:wallbanging:

If we dont have rain soon i might have to start watering,a bit to soon for my liking.Dont get me wrong I love the sun and heat just reckon we might pay for it when temps get back to normal for the time of year.
Not sure "weather"to put the heating on overnight in the greenhouse or the airconditioning:sofa:

Having had a look round, I get the feeling that the new growth on the Campanulas and Delphiniums is starting to look a little soft and floppy. To water or not to water - that is the question. When are we gonna get the real stuff?

Make the most of it while it lasts. It will start raining sometime in May, and then just keep on doing it until late August.

We in FIFE Always get snow and frost in April
Beautiful days then bang we wake up to snow, lasts about three days then it is gone
Until we get a frost early May

We could compensate for this but it is never the same time
It could be first week in April for snow or it could just aswell be the last, we never know

It has never really bothered me before apart from disapointing, but now I am into gardening it plays a major part

The rain will pass, giving way to strong wind from the south east bringing more settled weather on the west side of the pennines, but blustery on the east, with lots of mist likely along the east coast. Around the very beginning of September, we can expect pleasant weather everywhere, except the lake district, where it will be wet, windy and miserable for the whole of the first weekend of september.
