I used to sow in Feb, and they would flower August or there abouts, I never used lights, so if you have lights so much the better, I dont remember getting that many doubles, but this was probably 35yrs ago at least, seed strains may well be more adventurous now.

Probably pretty pedestrian to many but I like the usual suspects! The asparagus is looking mighty weird this year. And not at lot survived last winter so I gave them some company. A tomato and my version of Pinkerton guardians :)

Most of the 4 o'clock plants are pretty boring one colour but this one is more intersting but small flowers.

I'm sorry @Jasmine star but I don't think your Lavatera is Barnsley Baby it's too dark a pink. Barnsley Baby tends to be white with a hint of pink, below.

Here are some views of a flower bed I made on top of the drive into my old garage (not a garage any longer) and what do I want with a slab of cracked concrete ?
It is situated by the little road that passes the bottom of my garden.

                    Right side ...

Growing through the wall, I put them between the bricks when I built it ...

I have many chats with people going for walks with their dogs etc and some stop their cars to tell me how lovely it looks.
I've given lots of cuttings and roots away and had some in return too.
It was where I'd spend my time during the lockdown last year. Beryl had not long died and I was totally alone - couldn't visit anyone and nobody could visit me, so to see and chat to people passing was a great help.

Not a lot going on in the heat but this Lantana is bright and cheerful.
