    Hello all

It is getting to the time now when the lawns will need to be cut and since I am now looking at trying to do this myself could someone please tell me what the recommended cutting height is for a general purpose lawn?

The lawn will not be walked on much as I now have a path leading to the Patio and I live alone so no pets etc. will be using it.

I am not sure on the types of grass but I believe it is a mixture of Fescue and Rye, I think :)

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

    Hi Kevin

all depends on what you want but a nice 1.5 inches to 2 inches is fine. The longer the grass is the better the root growth. You can alter this to suit your conditions.

    Hello @Liz the pot

Thanks for the reply and the information.

I will start at 2" and hopefully that will work for my conditions.

    Thanks

    Kevin
