    Spotted at the side of a pavement, growing out right beside the base of a fairly new looking wall - presumably, a larger version of this used to live in a border or something that was where the wall is now. Just curious as to what it is?

    Its a euphorbia FC. They do seed around :)

      I don't think it will thrive where it is, but it has done quite well to still be alive given its position and the recent heat/dry spell.

      You will be amazed what places euphorbia and milkweed can manage to survive in.. ;) So it could well still be there next yr.. :heehee:

            @pete - I don't have any moles that I know of, but I think I have some mice coming in from next door occasionally.....

            This plant is miles away from my house - we spotted it on the way back from the hospital the other day. It is quite near my daughters school though, so I will show her the photo and make sure that she doesn't touch it (not that she would)
