Solved What is this tree please and would it live in south of the uk?

hallo,
am in Hungary at the moment and see this tree flowering right now -- July-- it is covered in these yellow flowers
Questions: what is the tree and would it grow in portsmouth area -- would bees like it?

Looks like Koelreuteria paniclata.

Yes it will survive in the UK, best probably in the south.
I've got one in my garden.

Yes bees do like it.

 

A super tree...for new leaves, interesting leaves, flowers and seed capsules, autumn colour.

 

thank you silver surfer and pete -- sorted, i am in the south, the tongue-twister thing is gorgeous and pictures show it is year-round interest plus bees like it -- will try to locate one to plant
