But I have this growing and have no clue what it is or if it's a weed! Can anyone help?

    Possibly oil seed rape.
Definitely from the cabbage family I would think.

The only thing I planted in this area was 2 rose bushes and sunflower seeds.

Could it possibly be some sort of sunflower?

I've been waiting for ages to see if it will flower so I know whether or not to pull it out

Its not a sun flower, its probably come from wild bird seed.
Or agricultural land if you have any near you.

Its just about to flower, leave it, nice yellow flowers, but not a sunflower.
