I was in a friend garden the other day, (has been a while because of the lock down) and I noticed a plant that I had not seen before. They did not know what it was either, it has just been there years.

I thought maybe some sort of Fern, but was multiple branches, and simple unipinnate leaves not bipinnate ?

            Thanks...now has flowers.
            Rhus typhina...common name staghorn sumac.

Did you look over the fence to see if they have one as well?
