    New to the poly tunnel sphere of gardening, what are the earliest crops can be grown in the North East of England and what are they please?

      Onions. Lettuce Spinach Radish Beet Cabbage


      Frozen North. Me too! I've still got 2 1/2 inches of ice which in some places is topped with up to a foot of snow. But today it is 34f 1c so practically a heat wave and hopefully it will help melt some of this stuff! :)

        I think your 'Frozen North' is way way way colder than ours...... "snow dig"

        Just about any crop you like except the most tender ones like toms and runner beans.

        + what lori mentions, Spuds, Beetroot, Leeks , so many to choose and try.

        Got any heating or heated areas in there to help start off the seeds ?




        Hmmmm...... think the last time @Nosivad in the North East of England had ice and snow like yours would probably have been during the last ice age... :biggrin:
