I have a few empty barrels now, post potatoes and radishes, so I am wondering what I can sow or plant now to get more use out of them? I don't mind if it is something that will grow on over winter (I was wondering about cauliflower or cabbage?), but I do want it to be edibles - any suggestions?

Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Autumn onion sets, land cress, mizuna, japanese mustard "green in snow", lambs lettuce, leeks.

Check if the garden centre has got any seed spuds in for new potatoes for xmas too :spinning:

Christmas spuds? Probably just got time to squeeze in.

Anything fast growing or things like spring cabbage for through winter.

You could put in some quick salad stuff now then come November you could plant Aquadulce Broad beans to overwinter to pick in the spring...
