    Hi all,

I wondered if you could help identify this weed. It's everywhere and gives off white fluff that has carpeted my lawn. I found quite a few last year in my garden, but it seems to have exploded in numbers this year.

How do I get rid of them? (It's actually quite difficult to hand pick them as I have a thatched lawn issue and a lot of them seem to be buried within it!)

    Thanks!
    Shy

Is it poplar tree seeds? I don't see any growing near my garden!

It could be Poplar. Try running your lawnmower over the lawn to pick them up. :)

I found the offending tree. It's now everywhere, like a blanket of snow. Lawnmower helps a bit. I'm close to using a vaccuum! (Joking, I think.)
