      That's a beauty Pete!
Mine are only just poking through:sad:

This is not exotic in terms of hardiness (it's fully hardy), but certainly looks exotic - Fritillaria camchatcensis..................

Salvia discolor is coming into full bloom.....................

Another Iochroma australis from the seed PeterS sent me, this time a white one...............

That Fritillaria is lovely Longk. I have just grown F. Imperialis and F. Persica for the first time this year (after planting last autumn). But they are not hardy with me.

We will have to open an Iochroma thread some time. I am amazed yours are already flowering. But seed grown plants are generally way ahead of overwintered plants. My I. australe was the first to wake up - but still only has a few leaves. I. cyanea was some time behind and is just showing the odd leaf, but my favorite I. coccinea, so far, is showing nothing. I am just keeping my fingers crossed.

F.persica bloomed weeks ago, but F.imperialis came up blind.

They were sown about eighteen months ago. Overwintered them in the shed dry and frost free. Put them in the g/house after the last cold spell was over.
My I.cyanea croaked even though it was huddled up in the middle of my eight I.austalis.

Was told my white Iochroma would survive in a sheltered location..they were wrong:sad: Shame lovely plant. A couple of plants that are shining for me , Jovellana violacea, Violet slipper plant from Chile that has flowered for the first time. Very pretty.

Bit of screaming exotica , Beschorneria Septentrionalis . Subtle! Not!

T-TRex..having a growth subtle. Never fails to make me smirk when I see it.

                          I'll forgive you JWK ;)
Yes I grew it from seed  , got loads of plants and it seems to grow well in any situation, just as easy as other campanulas and only grows 1 to 2ft, these are just over a foot tall but do have lots that don't look like they'll flower this year but are forming huge rosettes so hopefully be some bigger ones next year,I've been told its a biennial but some sites do list it as perennial, so I'll be collecting seed later in the year if anyone would like some :)

Simbad - that's lovely. Most unusual shape and colour for a Campanula.

Wayne - love that Beschorneria! I was very happy with my B.yuccoids until I saw that - now I have to go out and buy another plant.
