I have to correct myself. I had a look into my pictures and found the same stage for the Daffodils, Exochorda and Deutzia in 2024.
The 5th of March was my dad's birthday and for most of the time since I planted them in 2017, the Daffodils were not ready on that day.

@CarolineL That was what I thought, it was around certainly all morning and into the afternoon.
That rosemary is in flower just about all year round and over winter on a sunny day plays host to various bees and flies.

This week I have seen a butterfly and at least six huge bumble bees!! (the bees were sitting on my neighbours wall).

After I had to take out the Acer, it was time to take care of the bed where I also had to remove three ferns last year because of neighbour's  bindweed.

I seized the chance of change and
                            - I moved the compost into the old corner where I used to collect the compost up to 2020.
                            - I moved the tree fern to the middle (might be adjusted eventually by a few cm,)
                            - took out the second last remaining fern which never felt happy in that windy corner,
                            - tidied up the entire length
                            - planted the Pulmonaria offencialis that I had bought at Avebury garden (it was hardened off).

In the afternoon, I removed the moss from the pots in the greenhouse and added it to the corner where the fern was, which gave me the idea to buy eventually more moss to make it nicer. The Tintern fern will remain (I had cut of the old fronds today) and that fill out the corner.
The Tintern fern was the fern that the foxes maltreated last year  when a fox obviously slept on it.
Work will be continued, for example, I need new branches for the borders. Where the tree stump is, there is our cat buried since 2023.

                            20260228ourgarden_02.jpg

Developing ideas. The white garlic came with the Tintern fern.

The Viburnum opens soon its flowers.

                            20260228ourgarden_03.jpg

The Diacentra on the right had moved in October from by bed into the sunny bed in front of the bed and started growing in November -> stopped over winter -> is now 5 cm ahead of the Diacentra on the left which I planted in 2022 into the bed in front of the bench.
