Kristen, we don't sell the plants but I'll collect some seeds for you and send them in the winter. Our plant came from Lode - Richard Ayers dug up a root from his own garden for us.

Thanks, I'd be very happy to send a contribution for the fund raising :blue thumb:

That's very kind of you but just turning up is sufficient. Having some tea and cake (or Pimms if it's hot) also boosts the funds. :dbgrtmb:

How's the Hoya getting on? I seem to remember that this is the time of year it starts to flower.

Not looking read to flower as yet ... but its looking healthy. I'd better give it some "K" if its getting to flowering season.

I cannot tell a lie! It was the wonderful Mrs Shiney :wub2:. The pot also contains a magnolia - the trunk is growing up through the yellow and you can see the lower leaves.

This is my last wall basket. Planted up in early July with 2 little Begonia Sutherlandii and a rooted bit of Fuchsia Orange Crush that broke off then rooted itself for me. The basket lining looks rather unsightly (scraps of old remnants) but the plants will cover it soon as this should go on until the frosts, Salvia Amistad and wall basket 21 August 2012 003.JPG

Some photos from Sues garden this evening.

                Passiflora antioquensis..............

                Her rather ill behaved Brugmansia........
                DSC_3097.jpg

                It's cousin - Iochroma cyanea.............
                DSC_3105.jpg

                Agapanthus................
                DSC_3103.jpg

Hosta "Royal Standard" that I dug up from my old garden for her. The leaves are rather indifferent, but the flowers are superb!
                DSC_3111.jpg

And finally the Hibiscus, which is very late on parade this year!

                  From my own garden;

Recently bought Tricyrtis formosana "Purple Beauty" in the newly liberated bed................
                  DSC_3088.jpg

Seems more blue than purple to me though!

This is looking really good to me - my Tricyrtis ishianna is sooooo very close to blooming!
                  DSC_3096.jpg

                  Unknown dwarf hosta bloom.............
                  DSC_3095.jpg

Possibly my favourite plant of the year - Bomarea hirtella is opening its blooms on its second flowering stem. Better bunch on this one ............
