:grphg: @Sheal. When (note positivity!) you get you new house you can plant loads of new ones. I have 1000s so if you'd like some in due course just let me know and I'll dig some up for you. Can have a meet up to hand them over half way between you and me.

          Thank you @silu that's very kind. :)

I've just been checking the distance, there's about 140 miles between us and halfway is round about Pitlochry......fancy it?

Yes that would be fun @Sheal. Once you have got your new abode sorted we could meet up. I can come armed with loads of Daffodils/Snowdrops/Aconites to at least get you started on a new garden. Maybe your new home will already be bursting with goodies but we could maybe still have a merry meeting once the weather improves a bit. Baltic here this morning but very sunny and temps rising. The doom and gloom merchants (weather forecasters) say we are in for a mini(3 weeks) iceage any day now....sigh, we'll see they have a big habit of making things much more dramatic than they really are in reality.

Not exactly thrilling (looks much nicer in real life, ie when my non existant photography skills aren't in evidence!) but about the best i can do atm in Feb.[IMG]

I don't know when @silu but I think we can call that a date!

The weather forecasters could be right as the Jet Stream is about to swing round and give us a blast from the north.

@longk I've always thought that February is the shortest in days but seems to feel like the longest month of the year. Perhaps that's something to do with us gardeners itching to get things underway. :)

Cheer me up why don't you!

Or in this case because there is genuinely nothing happening. Even at Oxfords Botanic Gardens the only bulbs out are a few snowdrops. That is very unusual.

Everything is behind in my Sussex garden. The first daffodil leaves are only just poking through now with most not showing at all. It's been a cold winter here. Hope it warms up soon.

think I spied a few snowdrops. but in general still leaves to rake, twigs, limbs all over. all sleeping outside.
