Out in the garden yesterday morning, one or two things which caught my eye:

My first daffodil is out.

A light drizzle from the night before had settled on everything, creating an attractive 'droplet' effect on the leaves of my remaining January King cabbages:

Thanks Aesculus, for me one of the joys of gardening is looking around and sometimes finding unexpected beauty, even in something as mundane as a cabbage.

I must confess that they are in the conservatory! I should have enough by the end of the year to try and hold some back to try outdoors next year.

                Me too!
The Dracunculus vulgaris is looking good, and looks big enough to bloom this year.

Love the Draunculus (not the scent though :snork:) , I had some in my old garden growing in a well drained trough, they did brilliantly for a number of years before I lost them. I would love to grow them again, just need to find somewhere that sells them...
