20200301_104228.jpg I don't grow daffs in the ground, they flower the first year but the next year they don't come up so I've put them in a big pot.

        Nice flowers Logan.

Posted a short video clip of some of what is flowering in my own garden today. Not all looking perfectly good but considering the weather has been too bad to do much gardening for the last while I think there is at least some that looks good.

That is amazing, I had no idea there are varieties of Kniphofia that flower over-winter. Where did you get it from @CarolineL ?

This is probably one of the best Hyacinths I have ever grown. Around 18 inches high with a head of almost 12 inches of gorgeously scented deep purple striped blue flowers.

I have a few cyclamen in a large container that are doing well and obviously increasing. My hyacinths have come out like singles this year, in the past they have been very tall and needed staking, plus the flowers were previously very tight and compact. Colours have changed, but very attractive. Some Polyanthus are in bloom but the plants remain small. Several roses, especially the climbers already have flower buds, Rosa;Iceberg has not stopped flowering since the season before last. Ribes sanginaria is in full flower.

Hi @JWK - I've looked it up, and I got the kniphofia from Sarah and Julian Sutton of Desirable Plants. Their list said "The colour is a rather drab pale orange" but I think it looks pretty good for that time of the year! I don't think I've seen it on their list since - they only sell spares from their garden rather than a fully fledged nursery.

just some tete-a-tete daffs showing their colours at church, earlier this week.
