Just been out to uncover the Dahlias and although the single Tulips are past their best the Doubles are still blooming well. 20220430_151139.jpg

Azaleia by gate springs to life...strange how they all vary in the same garden. 20220430_151319.jpg

          Love the colour combination.

Despite only having a splash of rain our garden is looking surprisingly refreshed. 20220501_143338.jpg 20220501_142529.jpg 20220501_142439.jpg

London Pride just starting to bloom, This always evokes happy memories of my childhood garden as Mum used it alot in the raised rockery around the pond.

Yes Upsy, it is amazing how a little rain freshens and brightens everything.

London pride, that takes me back a bit.
When I was a kid gardening was not top of anyone's list around these parts but nearly every garden had some London pride, and privet hedges:biggrin:, dont even know its latin name, and not seen it for years.

Turns out its a hybrid Saxifraga x urbium.
