Well I grew it from seed, but it was the "in" plant at many garden centres last year.
Its not totally hardy but in a sheltered position in sun, does well.

Maybe I could come up with some seed if your interested but it does take a couple of years to flower.
You may be better to find plants for sale.:)

The NIP will go out for the summer, as last year but is prone to blowing over in the wind and I don't want to keep potting it on. I wouldn't chance it outside through the winter, there is nothing worse to look at than a badly scorched conifer!
The Washy is looking a bit tatty but will improve, the rest I hope will start moving with some warmer weather. I root pruned one of the four Chamys (that weren't in the pic) and will be watching it to see if it suffers or thrives.

What a stunning lot of flowers Pete, they are real gems. How old?

You think your washy is bad, mine are worse, although not as bad as last year, they have amazing powers of recovery for a palm.

The cacti,(and thanks Bob), are in excess of 20yys old, I never repot now, I cant even lift the Mam. hence the cobwebs.
