WELL I never thought I'd be starting this months what's looking good (hope it's ok for me to start this?, or are the "bosses" meant to start what's looking good?), living up in Scotland. The majority of October was beautiful here and no frosts yet , that's unusual. I still have plenty of colour in the garden for this time of year. No doubt you lot down South will be in shorts and tee shirts :).

Last spring I made and planted a Mediterranean style courtyard garden. It has been wonderful and these pictures were taken today. Star of the show is Verbena Banariensis.

Salvia Icing Sugar is still bringing in the Bees.

Abutlilon Megapotanicum is flowering well although I have cut some branches back as it was growing too well!

Not quite so full but the Coronilla has virtually flowered all year.

Begonia Dragon Wing still going well.

Grevillea Canbera Gem, despite also being cut back has now produced buds and a few flowers again. Shouldn't be in flower till next Spring.

Callistemon Citrinus Splendens didn't flower in the Spring after being damaged by hard frosts but due to the mild weather the recently formed buds have now opened for an Autumn display.

What d'you mean down south @silu? :) I was outside turfing, sleeveless today, I admit no shorts but the perspiration was dripping off me, 15C? Who'd believe it's November? :)

:):) Thanks @Sheal.The only snag about this incredibly warm weather for the time of year is that I've a nasty feeling we are going to pay for it later on! Mind you maybe it's just a pay back for the rotten summer. I'm hoping it's the latter. Not even had the wood burning stove on at night yet far less the central heating. Long may this spell of weather continue. The Autumn colours around these parts would rival The American Fall spectacular, this year.

Salvia SL411 has so much potential to be a good'un but it isn't quite delivering................

The Solanum rantonnetii that I planted out last year survived and is blooming (quite well actually but sadly it is smothered by other shrubs).................
