Some Pictures of the garden today after a sodden day / week / summer.

New plant this year Sanguisorba stand up Comedian , hopefully the flowers are much bigger next year and taller its about 5ft for now.

David Howard probably my favourite dahlia

Dahlia Sylvia - Bishop of llandaff, unfornatly the weather split these dahlias quite bad and BoLlandaff only started flowering a couple of weeks ago.

Front lawn seeded on 25th sept , looking through last years pic I seeded the back lawn on the exact same date bit surprise when I noticed. Bedding plants still going strong

Back garden - eupatorium can't stand up anymore , some perennials are hanging on like the heleniums but other like the Helianthus Lemon queen ( far left ) is really showing off

Back lawn looking decent for the time of year. I did get lured into a false sense of summer arriving a few weeks ago so give it a summer feed hence why its so green plus cutting it higher, worm cast being a nuisance .

Thanks @Victoria , it's one of my favourites. It's usually a deeper brown colour but I think it's been too hot and sunny for it.

I love these 'new' chocolate colours. I just got seeds for Hibiscus Ice Cream from the Ukraine and will start them off in the next day or two.

I love that one @Victoria . Good luck with the seeds.

My Hibiscus is a deep red, rather than the usual reddy/orange. It's got some buds now, so hopefully I'll be able to take a photo soon.

Hi Caroline. There are 40 seeds in an original packet written in Russian. Plan to start them off later today (soaking) ... so we will see in time. Temps still being high 20s here I hope for quick germination. All my Morning Glory seeds are up and two days ago I got my first double red Petunias blooming. I will put all up on my Algarve thread.
