@Plantminded My tree fern looks also still fine apart from two frozen fronds. Using fleece was the best ever tip!

We've escaped the cold here just dipping to -1C very briefly one night so many of the flowers are still in bloom around town and in the garden

Pleased you escaped the worst of the weather. We are just coming out of an unusual cold snap. Trust all is well up there.

Yes we did get a little snow but it melted after it fell so no damage.

How cold did it get there?

I'm well thanks plodding on really! How is everything there?

Great, @simone_in_wiltshire, I'm pleased it's doing well. Those frozen fronds may turn black. I remove those that do, just for aesthetics  (they are usually the youngest fronds). On milder days I also remove the fleece stuffed in the crown to allow air to circulate and to dry the fleece out.

Plodding along here too. :rolleyespink: We had a much too hot summer here for me. Now we are having a rare very cold spell waiting for more rain. My precious Hibiscus are all surviving and the Adeniums are in The Baffa for the Winter.

Which I just did for a few hours. 1c forecast over night again. But it’s out of its fleece coat for the first time after 12 days!
