              Went to visit a friend today and I was very impressed with his hostas - the size of some of the leaves are enormous as you can see in this pic

                  width of the leaf (tip-to-tip) is 165cm, the leaf stalks are 135cm long, and the width of the plant (tip of left leaf to tip or right one) is 3.5M.

                        I'd love to see the whole bed looking a picture too :heehee: ... but it doesn't. Rather "under construction" ... Dahlias and Cannas supposed to be filling the gaps, but they were started off very late this year, so it currently looks naff ...
