    Salvias leaves have a pungent smell so you'd be able to tell if it was a Salvia.
    The leaves remind me of Caryopteris but a closer picture would help. This also has a smell which I don't like, it's a sort of 'dry' smell.

      Would love to see clear pic.
      Leaves are very varied.
      These are 3 different Caryopteris .
      1.......... ..Caryopteris clandonensis Kew Blue.

      2 and 3. ..Caryopteris Worcester Gold.
      4 to 7.. ..Caryopteris incana Sunshine Blue.

        Thanks yes it does have a funny smell like dry not a vile smell but i am sorry i am unable to get a better pic but looked up Caryopteris yes it is that thanks
