After a week of minus 9c at night and plus 4 during the day, it is tonight at 5c, drizzle and thick fog
Having frozen my ground solid so I can not work on it, it is now soggy wet but still frozen solid :-(

Currently 0 degrees here, the snow didn't amount to anything last night, just a light dusting, thankfully...

Forecast is for 2 or 3 more cold frosty days and then warming up from Monday; hopefully long enough to let the ground thaw out......:love30:

-1C and just over half an inch of snow fell about 10 p.m. Nothing since. On our weather forecast it shows they forecast -3C at this time but their actual reading is -1C. Supposed to be +1C and sunny all day and very cold tonight.

    Snow like dandruff

    Evening All,
I hope your all well and enjoying this freezing weather:grouphug:????
Weather here today is cold outside but as warm as toast inside,

It's funny the way things seem so different when your younger and for the sake of fashion you'd freeze to death,
As long as you looked cool (remember hipsters)

As ive said in past threads I was born in liverpool and during the 1960's i was a young lad finding out what life was all about,

And how to be cool for the girls,

It was summer (august) and me and my mate we're standing outside liverpools famouse "CAVERN CLUB" It was around 9pm and we we're going to what was known as an all nighter,

ie the club was open all night until 6am, these "all nighters" we're packed and so it was a good thing to arrive early and stand waiting to get in for a few hours.

Behind us we're two girls, and both me and my mate didnt really notice them "But one of these girls tapped my mate on the shoulder and said,

"A lad is it snowing where you come from????"

My mate turned round, looked at her and said "What in august, I dont think so.

The girl replied "Sorry i thought it was snow on your shoulder but it must be dandruff:heehee:

It was one of the best chat up lines ive ever heard and it worked,
They got married two years later.
