    Hi all

Bought a couple of 7cm potted Clematis florida 'Taiga' from Thompson Morgan a while back (can't post a link yet it seems). So far, no sign of life from the potted "sticks" whereas my other garden planted Clematis have buds - whats the latest that I should see something from my new one's to prove they are alive still!

    Thanks

      Are they in the garden?
Those 7 cm plugs are best potted up first.
A tad early for them to show signs of growth......Check again in April Symbioss so patience for now.
(Mind you, I guess we are all over keen to see those new shoots :snorky:)

Could be 11 or maybe 12 degrees tomorrow so, yes, sunnier warmer days ahead for plants and us

Hi @symbioss and welcome. This is a plant that I have enquired about recently. It would be interesting to see how yours turns out. I am not ready to plant up just yet so I am keeping my options open. Any photos you care to share would be appreciated. I am slightly concerned that it might not grow big enough to cover my fence. Where/how are you growing yours?

              G.

Active growth on this clematis won't begin until Spring is here (properly here, I mean :heehee: ).
It is a variety that you would normally cut down to just above grown level at this time of year before it begins its Spring growth.

Don't give up hope just yet :blue thumb:

I have various clematis some are showing signs of growing and some are laid dormant so i guess it would depend on what type you have,

If my memory serves me well from last year one type was a few months later.
