Hi TeaTree, if you buy any gardening mag, or as I do Garden News which is a weekly, lots of nurseries advertise in the back pages so that you can send off for their catalogues.
The RHS Plantfinder also list nurseries if you are looking for a particular plant.

    See http://www.rhs.org.uk/index.htm

Hi TeaTree, here is a catalogue which you may find interesting if you are into tropical and unusual plants.

Hi Teatree. It all depends on what sort or level your interest is. The best ones to start with are Mr Fothergill and Thompson & Morgan. They are full of coloured illustrations, which is a good way of learning about plants.

I use the two above, but I now use Chilterns even more. It has a much greater range and gives useful information. But there are no illustrations, and it assumes that people have a bit more knowledge.

There are loads of other companies, and as Pip said some are more specialised. If you Google 'seeds' you will find even more.
