I would like to know more about how tomatoes communicate through their
leaves in different ways. Have already learned "too much water" and one
week after "irregular watering". But what more can you read from a tomatoe
    plant?

Are there any general guidlines for how to learn different plants language?

Or are there as many languages as there are varieties?

Take a look at the 'Edible Gardening' forum Magnus. There is a specific tomato thread there that will help you pick up tips, you can also ask any questions you may have. :)
