So why on Earth are you posting a rumour that you suspect is garbage?

Is there now a rule against discussing things that are being mentioned/discussed elsewhere whether they are true or not? Did I in any way infer that what was being discussed was in some way true, or try to impart it as some sort of news?

On Tuesday, Mr Barnier, the EU's chief Brexit negotiator, threatened to pull out of post-Brexit trade talks with the UK unless Boris Johnson caved on his red lines. The Brussels diplomat told his British counterpart Lord Frost he would not travel to London for another round of negotiations this weekend if Downing Street did not budge on fisheries and common standards. Mr Barnier gave the UK 48 hours to alter its stance, hoping the move would break the current deadlock.

Bully boy tactics - it just won't work Michel.

This supposed to be in the Brexit thread.....administrative cock up

Well, you have take into account that Paul Baldwin works for the Daily Express which is a really reputable Newspaper known for it's unbiased, non Right Wing, reporting and Paul Baldwin holds to that standard.

Personally, I find it interesting that the Daily Express is really useful for lining Cat Litter trays.:cat-kittyandsmiley: Funny how we say we don't trust or believe the Newspapers but we still find them interesting enough to quote.:dunno::heehee:

Now now, pick your toys up...

It's a very good talking point, as far as I can make out Biden doesn't really like the UK and has already announced no new trade agreements until he's spent time and resources on sorting things in the US. He also likes to get involved in the Ireland issues and border problem because at some point there are US citizens with Irish heritage. Well blimey what has that to do with anything.

Maybe he just doesn't like Boris or perhaps he's as xenophobic as they come but I don;t expect a new US trade deal with him in charge.

I have now heard, from relations in the U.S.A. that Trump has just reached a total of 47 lost Federal and State court cases over the voting. He has won, to my knowledge, a couple of cases for a recount on grounds of the individual state counting procedures. They were both recounted, under scrutiny, and one increased Trumps count by about 500 and the other increased Biden's by over 200. Trump had to pay £3m to cover the cost of the recount.

Trump also won a couple of appeal cases to have his case heard in a different (higher, I think) court and the appeals were lost in the higher courts where the original decisions were upheld.

Most of his cases were lost because there was no evidence produced to verify his claims.

Not all the case were brought by him as some were brought by supporters.

A large proportion of the cases were held in Republican states.

In Georgia for the run-offs the senators have been in debates... it's pretty clear that Trump has created some form of cult (did I spell that right...) as the Republican are giving pat, scripted answers straight from the oval office order book. It's scary stuff.

May God strike me down for saying this, but I have a feeling he won't be around much longer - and I don't mean anything sinister or anything, I just have a feeling we are going to wake one day to hear he has passed away. No idea why I have that feeling, and of course would not wish it on anyone.
