Like a lot of us on the forum always looking for that great photo.
For me this one I took today says "Yorkshire to me"
Have you got a picture that says, this is where I live and proud of it?

Our village itself wouldn't win any prizes in the picturesque stakes, though there are a few very old clay built houses scattered about it. What we both really love is that it is still very quiet. Every morning we count our blessings when we open the blinds in the bedroom and contemplate the view across the river.
And on a moonlight night the view is just about as good.

Silly question for me, Robert ...

It's a beautiful country, sea and mountains within 20-30 minutes, the sun shines more than anywhere else on the Med ... and we are not on the Med.

It's exceptionally cheap to live here ...

    :)

I don't like where I live:( I live there because it is convenient for my job.

Or I could be all soppy and say I love where I live because my wife and baby son live there too:)

I'm very happy were I live.
It as everything I could want within a few miles.
Open countryside one way and Birmingham city centre the other all within a short drive from my house.
We have the nature reserve,Sutton Park just over the road and of course all my family live within a short car ride.

We are in fact going to start to do more holidaying round the U.K so any ideas for short breaks in nice places were you live please.

I absolutely adore living where I live, I live at the side of Winter Hill in Bolton-below:

It's a beautiful part of Lancashire-of which I am proud. And we live about 15 mins from absolute tranquility. The people are extremely friendly-sometimes too friendly-and hilarious too.

    I will never leave.

I used to live at the side of Winter Hill! Many years ago! I used to love watching the 'Hill' during the different times of the year, an amazing place, and I come from t'other side!

I have indeed visited t'other side many times-partcularly fond of Ripon and Haworth-I go to Haworth many times a year, the walks are just breathtaking. Not as beautiful as Lancashire-but I would say that wouldn't I?
