why does my cat do weird things..cute thou

my rescue cat who i adopted 5 years ago, has always had a foot fetish, she loves rubbing her head all over my feet and putting her front paws in my shoes and slides along the floor, but her new thing is just as odd, she has started bringing me pencils?

 

Wow neat, pencils. Had a cat once that would bring back a thrown ball to me.

 

Our first cat loved to retrieve erasers and our last one had little "dollies" (furry balls) that she would love to have thrown and bring back too.

My avatar is the last one and she had umpteen dollies, all colours and sizes. Strangely enough, the two smallest and tattiest ones were her favourite. She took them with her when she went up to Cat Heaven almost two years ago, bless her. k-l

 

Don't know why cats do what they do, ours (if there is an oportunity) will shred and lick tissues!!
