Pal what is the address of the pages you are trying to download..?? If you can download from anywhere else no problem then it has to be the pages you are viewing.. If it is local Gov then it it their priority. Somtimes they want to stop us downloading so we buy the paper from them.. What does it say in properties on the actual file & what does it say in your downloads file when you check the properties on the file you have just downloaded..??

Before reading your replies I tried again and got straight into it!:thumb:Surley it must have been my PC on a go slow:doh:
We needed the guide for Childminders 'Safeguarding Children' policies and I've printed them off now ...thanks for the offer of help folks:)

As I said...Ofsted are a nightmare and they have gone totally bonkers with the amount of paperwork we are expected to do. And the complicated jargon they use ,makes just understanding the questions almost impossible!
It seems that Mrs Pal's 40 years experience in child care doesn't count for much these days... only qualifications!
    Thanks again:gnthb:

:dh: Oh Pal I think I knowwhere you & Mrs Pal are coming from.. My friend I think has been doing similar & sometimes she found she was having download probs too to do with offstead with it & she was told it was because she had picked a busy time & their server was not coping too well. "Just keep trying"..!! Was what she was told.. :dh: I am so glad you got it all sorted out for Mrs Pal.. Tell her good luck & we all know it is time & experience that count with kids, but the Gov must have its little pieces of paper & the right boxes ticked or you are nothing it seems today.. :skp: Just so glad you sorted it..!! :gnthb:
