    As good as anybody else's.

If you order via a cashback site like Topcashback you can get another 4.2% off and collect them instore. You can exchange that cashback for Tesco Clubcard Points (with a 5% bonus) that can be then exchanged for up to 4x value in 'Deals Vouchers'. http://www.topcashback.co.uk/wilkinson_plus/

Range of varieties tends to be limited, but if they have what you want, and enough seeds in a packet, then the price is unlikely to be beaten elsewhere.

I got an allotment a couple of days ago and heard about a scheme at another allotment. Their allotment association has a shop, which sells gardening equipment and seeds, at 50% off the normal price.

What's more anybody can buy there ... you don't need to have an allotment.

Maybe worth doing a quick internet search, maybe there;s a similar scheme somewhere near you.

You'll probably get a better choice when using a well known seed company, but if you are happy using the 'bog standard' varieties I am sure Wilko seeds are OK. I've used them in the past for tomatoes and they have been fine.

I buy a few Wilkos seeds every year , never had a problem and they are really good value. Going to have a look in this morning in fact when I am in town.

Have you tried The Garden Centre Group on the west of Bolton? That group has had a sale at 50p a packet (since beginning of September). Choice might be getting a bit limited now though ...

I know that Bolton garden centre Kristen , its still a bit of a hike from here though.
Wilkos have really shrunk the garden section down , they have a big Halloween display on now. Couldn't see any seeds or plastic plant pots . Got some weigh yourself grass seed though .

Depends how many packets of seeds you want / use in a year, but I bought 36 packets for £18 and saved a further £70.34 :) Might be more limited choice now, but perhaps worth thinking about for 1st September next year, assuming they repeat the sale.
