I have a Cornus Kousa " China girl " which I planted about six months ago .
Currently it looks as though the leaves are slightly wilted.
Thinking it was maybe lacking water I watered it thoroughly but it doesn't seem to have changed much -bit concerned as it was a birthday present and would hate to loose it
Any suggestions please on how I can help revive it so the leaves do not wilt as much or is that the normal look of this tree ?

At the moment Martyn, I have quite a lot of shrubs that look like your Cornus. Here in Kent it is because of the lack of rain. I wouldn`t worry too much if I were you, as Cornus is pretty tough, and sometimes trees and shrubs will lose their leaves to save themselves. :)

Agree with Tetters.....it has been so hot and plants' defensive systems are to wilt and drop leaves. I found even convolvulous cneorum, a plant that thrives in hot dry conditions, was suffering. Luckily lately the sea mists have help it recover. When the rain comes plants will respond but Martyn can you water it? :)
