Hello colincwb & welcome to the forum!

You can still sow Spring Greens from seed but you have to be quick.

Salad leaves will give you a crop before the winter; lettuce, spinach & rocket.

You should be able to find plants of winter cabbage, brocolli and sprouts in the Garden Centres.

October is the time to plant Garlic.

    Good luck :thumb:

Very good! You'll definately get something out of that lot, I see you are doing pretty well with your existing stuff. Just watch out for the sun on your seedlings, it can bake/fry tender seedlings very quickly in those mini greenhouses - be ready with the shading - but you knew that I guess.

Thats a long list - full marks for your ambition - you might struggle to pack them all in - veg like potatoes, runner bean & sweetcorn need lots of room.

Gave cucumbers a bash this year but want to do it better next year
was thinking! "I need to know how to do it properly" :lollol:

Does it need to be planted in deep pots?
Does it need tied up a pole/trelis?
Can I feed it tomato feed?

I wanted to build a long pot (rectangler in shape prob bout metre long ,200mm width and 300mm deep .) So i could put it against the back wall of my green house and attach a piece of trelis to let it climb if it needs to lol but dont know if it would work

    hope someone can help x

    cwb
