Winter Veg

    Any advice on what winter veg I can grow in my raised beds please?

    In areas where the temp doesn't drop below -8c it's possible to grow hardy veg like cabbages,savoys,sprouts Kale,leeks,spiniach,seakale,beet(Swiss chard).
    If you have pigeons there,use nets as they will get the lot....I didn't,they did....gave up :(

    I put in lots and lots of broccoli, preferably the purple sprouting stuff. Yum!

    I have just bought some garlic bulbs but not planted them yet.Onion sets were also for sale.
    My pumpkins, courgettes and lettuces are still taking up my room at the moment so I need to wait for some space.Spring cabbage is so tasty straight from the garden to the pan so I will be planting that. [​IMG]
