    Hi

I'm both new to gardening and to these forums! So first things first - Hello!

I need some advice regarding a Wisteria (floribunda alba) that's growing in an apple tree. I think it's starting to take over. It goes all the way up the centre of the tree, right to the top, and its trunks are getting thicker and wrapping round more and more of the tree's branches. Will it harm the apple tree? Should I either completely remove it, or will cutting it back be okay?

    thanks for any help

    Nick.

Hello NJW. Welcome along. Yes, Wisteria does get huge and needs to be either pruned or removed otherwise it will smother the tree.
