I have Sambucus nigra Black Lace and I love it! Mine is kept in partial shade, but, yours (and mine) would thrive equally in a sunny spot.

Tip: cut them back hard in the Spring. They put on a good amount of growth in a year and cutting them back does not affect the flowers (which later turn into small black fruits which the birds adore!).

I used the trimmings this year as cuttings and have three rooted and ready to take to Shineyland next year. One of the "cuttings" even flowered this year! :heehee:

          Top choice, woo :blue thumb:

Will replacing your lawn make your mower redundant Woo and have you chosen the roses yet? :)
