    Not sure where to put this thread but this looks the most obvious.

    We went to York and Windermere and these are some of the thing we saw.



    Well you can`t go to York and not see the 'Minster'. There were some nice trees to see as well though.

    On the recommendation from members here we went to Burnby Hall at Pocklington to celebrate Her Majesty's jubilee and see the gardens. Unfortunately, the water lillies were only just beginning to open up. This was one of only a few in bloom.

    There were lots of other things to see though, including the Jubilee party area in the distance.
