    Good morning everyone,

Hope everyone is feeling OK this morning and these colds are on the wain:thumbsup:
It's a bit nippy out there this morning but the sky is lovely and clear and full of stars:wub2:...The only sound is a Robin, don't they have a big voice for a little bird...

The dogs have just been out and chased Mr Fox off:rolleyespink: it amazes me how well they can see in the dark when they run full pelt like that, they obviously smelt him before they saw him:rolleyespink:

Time for a quick cuppa then Hi Ho:whistle:....

Have a great day everyone and take care:SUNsmile:

        Good morning everyone,

WOO what's wrong with Penny only Amber has been sick and then had an upset tummy over the last couple of days. Wondered if there was something going round. Anyway I wish her well soon and that she gets on at the vets ok.

Loli, Amber hears the foxes or cats and has to go out and chase them out of the garden during the night.

Shiney, hope your foot is improving!

Penny, Glad you enjoyed Daniel's first birthday and do please enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner.

Waves to all our other friends and wish you all safe and well. Have a good day all,
        God Bless. :wub2:

          Aloha everyone,

Woo and Moyra, I hope Penny and Amber are OK :grphg:

After the early morning rain it was a lovely sunny day yesterday. Today is forecast to be wet all day and then another sunny day tomorrow.

Moyra, my foot had a bit of a relapse yesterday . It was clearing up very well but erupted again (not as bad as in the past). Yesterday we received, in the post, some anti-fungal cream that we had ordered and Mrs Shiney applied it to my foot last night. It feels a bit better this morning but I can't see what it looks like.

I cut all the front lawns when I got home from the club at 6 p.m. yesterday and they look really lush and green. I'll give the back lawns a quick run over tomorrow if the weather is good. They don't really need cutting as I did the back lawns at the end of last week but Mrs Shiney has a charity coffee morning and craft sale on Saturday.

I'll be manning the tables under the Pergola and Mrs Shiney and two of her helpers will be womaning :heehee: the stalls in the summerhouse. Our friends from London will be driving up to do all the teas as usual :blue thumb:. We don't charge any entrance fee or for the coffee/teas biscuits etc. but last year we took £800 in the two hours. :hapydancsmil: I hope we can do that again. :)

I've got to go shopping this morning and start organising food for the helpers that will stay for lunch and dinner on Saturday. I can't do it on Friday as I shall be working most of the day preparing for the big bridge tournament that I'm running on Sunday. Tonight I'm running a bridge charity event. :phew:

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Morning early people :)

            Bit blowey here this morning.

No butter so i'm frying a bit of bread in olive oil :)

Noticed Sis had staked the Mumflowers back up that got knocked over in the storm :)

Have a good day everyone and remember, tapping the barometer won't make the weather better :)

                Morning all

Shiney, I'm exhausted reading that list of all you've got planned for the next few days. Hope the new cream helps your foot.

Sending lots of get well soon thoughts to Penny and a big :grphg: for Woo.

Moyra, hope Amber has got over her stomach bug. It's such a worry when they're poorly.

Tiffy was also chasing a fox out of the garden at 5am this morning. Luckily I got back to sleep for an hour until she took exception to a cat that came visiting.

Rain has stopped so we'll try and get out for a walk before it starts again.

                Have a great day everyone

:sick0026: I couldn't keep the blighter at bay. Barely slept last night, my nose was running like a tap, and by morning I felt as though I had been smacked squarely in the face with a shovel.

Dragged my carcass to work this morning, as I had an important meeting at 9am; traffic was murderous to get there, taking over an hour and a quarter (its a four mile journey that normally takes ten minutes or less), only to get to work and find that the meeting had been cancelled! :wallbanging:

So, I have dragged myself back home and worked from home today.

To cap it off, we have no central heating at the moment as the boiler has thrown its annual wobbler and is depressurising and chucking scalding water out of the overflow. Gas man is snowed under, so might not make it today - still, we got electric heaters if it gets really cold later on.

Shiney - do you ever get a minute to yourself? You and Mrs Shiney are busy wee beavers all the time it seems.

Woo - hope Penny is OK :doggieshmooze:

Hope you are all well, and enjoy the rest of your day.

                          Morning everyone,

Its cool and raining here, definitely feels like Fall today!!

I had to leave early this morning to make a delivery, wasn't supposed to take it until Friday but they needed it today....so off I went, and had to make a stop at the Honda plant too, to drop off some parts, so it all worked out.

I'm off to make some lunch, haven't eaten yet today and getting a slight headache......so enjoy your day everyone

Good afternoon all,and many thanks for all your well wishes and caring messages for Penny, she is sleeping at the moment, she has been like this before about once every two years, she is back on boiled chicken and rice, which at least she is keeping down, the vet gave her two injections one in her leg and one on her neck, also some tablets twice a day ( Antibiotics)

It is a mystery why she gets like this because ,we never discover what it is, so how do I prevent it happening in the future, thank you again for caring:smile:

                              @Woo...thank you for the update:dbgrtmb:...

Just out of pure curiosity have you both been walking in the woods? I'm asking because this occurs with my two and my previous dog on the odd occasion around this time of the year, whether it's the dampness and they sniff around in the undergrowth where the fungi grow and they pick up a bug I just don't know:scratch: It is puzzling though .... the chicken and Rice will see her right and the Woos special TLC:thumbsup:
