    Morning everyone,

Its cool, damp and raining off and on here, that's pretty much the forecast for the weekend.

I was down in Toronto again yesterday and today have some local deliveries to make, which is good because I am picking up Daniel in a bit and will have him until late tomorrow. Natalie and Dan are in his brother Kyle's wedding, and they have so much to do, that little man is staying with us, but I do have to take him to the church for pictures tomorrow though.

So if I don't pop in again...you know I am chasing a 1 year old!!! Enjoy your day everyone

:phew: It's been a breezy night, lots of banging and crashing going on:doh: it's been a very mild night too and set to be a good day if this wind simmers down.

I've got my camera poised ready to try and get a picture of Mr Heron,he flew over yesterday and he was huge, don't know what I expect to see in the dark though:heehee:

Quick cuppa and then off to the workhouse...:coffee:

          Aloha everyone,

Woo, I've got some sandpaper if you need it! :heehee: :grphg:

Loli, I definitely wouldn't recommend me as a TV repairman. I'm still trying to work out how to use the one I bought in May! The only things that I've managed so far is to turn off the commentary (for visually impaired people) and remove the background music that drives me mad when there's dialogue in a programme (brilliant facility). The TV was worth it just for that last facility! :hapydancsmil:

Mrs Shiney is off to the wilds of Suffolk today for a flower arranging demo. I picture, in my mind, lots of women sitting in the middle of the road waving banners and flowers. :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I never did get around to doing the paperwork so I'll see whether I have better luck today.

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Morning all :)

Still no heating here - part didn't arrive, so it will be early next week now. Still, at least it's not too cold.

Looks a bit grey outside and a bit breezy... well, it is October I suppose.

I'll be off to work in a min, so will be fairly quiet most of the day, but will be here is spirit.

Have a lovely day everyone :)

                Morning all,

Shiney , well done on fixing Barry's tele that saved him a few bob. Good luck to H and her flower arranging in Suffolk.

WOO, sorry you are feeling rough around the edges, like me and my sinuses, all I managed to obtain from the pharmacist was more antihistamines.

Loli, take it easy at work today, don't over do it.

Penny, good luck trying to keep up with Daniel.
Have a good day all, stay safe, dry and well. God bless.:wub2:

Got woken up by the rain but managed to get back to sleep :snooze:

FC, do you want to borrow my concrete block and tea lights?

Have a good day everyone and don't go sanding any owls down without written permission from the RSPB :)

The dogs have just been out and it's not a bad morning at all, very mild again but that wind sounds like it's revving up.

Off to work shortly and I must remember to put my wheelbarrow in the car as a friend at work wants to borrow it,big old thing it is and heavy too,I've had it for years it's an old builders barrow and the only thing that's keeping it together are the bits of set concrete in the bottom:biggrin:

Wishing everyone well, have a great day and take care:SUNsmile:

                        Aloha everyone,

It's mild here and a bit breezy. Earlier on this morning the trees seemed to be quite still but the anemometer was whizzing round like a dervish! The trees are starting to catch up.

I've had a couple of bad days with my foot but this morning it seems a lot better. We have a friend coming for the day and I'll need to start prepping dinner. I've already cooked a big chilli which will be put into take-away containers. Our friend's hubby died just a few weeks ago and I'm preparing some meals for her to take home and freeze. :blue thumb:

My foot wasn't in a good enough condition for me to do gardening so I, finally, had time to plough through some of the paperwork. :) Still a lot to go

Sarafi must have watched the TV programme on the life of cats the other day because he has been talking to us even more! He smelled me cooking the chilli and stood outside the kitchen window yelling at me.

By coincidence :heehee: I happened to have some ends of chicken drumsticks that had been used in making a big chicken soup. I used 1.5 kg drumsticks for the soup instead of a chicken carcass as I got the drumsticks for £2. :dbgrtmb: He really likes the knobbly ends of the sticks as he chews the whole of them. We'll use the main part of the chicken drumsticks for spicy chicken burgers.

Ziggy, I knew you should have waited before having your bonfire! :)

Keep well and have a great day

                        Aloha!

                          Good morning everyone,

Shiney, I am sorry your foot has not been too good. Maybe that is the only way you will get your paper work done!

Zigs, you'll be there forever trying to boil a kettle with tea lights!

Loli. Rather you than me loading up that wheelbarrow.

WOO, hope you are ok today?

                            Aloha everyone,

Yesterday was very warm and sunny and the sun is doing its thing this morning.

I may do some pottering in the garden today and try and finish the paperwork - but I think there's still too much to do.

My foot feels quite good this morning but I'll wait for Mrs Shiney's verdict when she changes the dressings. :)
