        Still struggling here too Shiney, I have finished the linctus the doc gave me and I do not think there is much left in the ventolin either. I hope you are feeling a little better if not a lot this morning.

              Sorry to see that Woo, Shiney and Moyra are still strugging. :grphg: and hope you are all better soon.

              Dry and sunny here so off out with the dogs in a minute. I can manage Cooper one handed as he's fairly well behaved while OH takes Honey who still pulls like mad but not sure how I'll cope next week when he's back at work. Need to build up my muscles pdq I think

                Unexpected frost here this morning and very misty and grey looking out of the window

                To those with the lurgy, it's a bit of an odd one if you've got the same as me - the worst passes in 5 to 7 days, but it hangs around for quite a while. Hope you all feel better soon

                    Big :grphg: to everyone...

                    Really sharp frost this morning but the sun is out and that sky is so blue,it really is lovely:wub2:...

                    It would be a good day to empty one of my compost bins but I don't know if I've got the energy:doh:it's taken me all my time to wash my hair,just doing that nearly floored me:rolleyespink:

                    Annnyway onward and upward:paladin::thud::biggrin:....

                    Take it easy everyone:doh: sounds like we all haven't got much choice with that one:doh:
                    Just think, when we've all got over feeling iffy we'll be as fit as lops for the rest of the year:fingers crossed::yes::thumbsup:

                      Loli, I hope you are right, do not like the way this has been holding on it is weeks and weeks now. I have just walked Amber again and it has started me off coughing again. The fog has not lifted here properly it is still very misty and damp. Not good for me to be honest to be out in it. But when Amber needs then I must. Steve is practicing darts, thump, thump, thump!

                        I hope you're all starting to improve. :blue thumb: Not sure that I am :sad:. I'm too wobbly to walk more than a few feet :doh:, haven't eaten in days but am managing to take a fair amount of fluids. I'm determined to improve a lot today and be able to open my club on Tuesday. :fingers crossed:

                          Shiney, it does leave you weak, you really need some chicken soup or something to give you some substance. I am going to ask the doc to repeat my prescription of linctus and ventolin as I am no better but I do not know what the answer is. There is a lot of this chestiness going around.

                          Hope everyone else is on the mend. Loli and WOO and Eve also your arm and shoulder lass.

                            Sorry to hear you're no better Shiney. If you don't do as Moyra says I'll get my mother in law to bring you some of her Jewish penicillin and force feed you it. It'll be kill or cure :heehee:

                            Hope the doc gives you another prescription Moyra. Everyone I know who has had the lurgy had it for several weeks. Fingers crossed you just need one more lot to clear it.

                              I'm feeling a bit better after the fever I had in the night. Still wobbly, having difficulty typing :doh:, But have just had a little porridge and an egg. Mrs Shiney has made some Jewish penicillin so, hopefully, that will help as well.

                              Woo, I've suffered with tinnitus for over 40 years but, fortunately, it doesn't get beyond the nuisance level. A friend of mine had it really badly and the National Health provided him with 'white noise' hearing aids. Apparently they could be tuned to cancel some of the sound. They probably don't do it on National health anymore. :sad: Wish you lots better. :grphg:
