Yawn Yawn, Wakey WAKEY...!! 2015

Hello folks - grey and chilly here in Medway, hoping the summer bulbs I planted are ok in the greenhouse. I really thought Spring was on its way here, but it's now looking like we're being plunged back into January with all this grey blandness and a bite in the air. I know it's cold because 7 of our 8 cats are indoors - the other one only lives here part time when he fancies it. I should have shares in a cat litter firm. Hope everybody has had a good day - it's nearly the weekend, so don't lose hope

Last lap and then it's the weekend...I've got that many jobs I want to fit in this weekend and I bet I don't get half of them done I've got a dull north facing border with conifers in (aka chicken cemetery) the edge of which steps up from the lawn,the chooks have got a habit of scattering soil along the edge of the lawn so seen as I've got some nice big stones I'm going to place them along the edge to try and discourage them.You can tell they want to get cracking in the garden,they'd made a start on 'scarifying' the lawn so I've had a word and told them to wait a bit longer for the grass to dry out...I don't know...you can't get the staff these days can you

Morning everyone,

Going to have to give up Hoisin Sauce as well now as it is in both feet this morning. I took some ibuprofen around 4 this morning and I am going to take another couple in about quarter of an hour before I take Amber out. Going to have to go on a plain diet in future.

Loli, loved the way your chooks wait for you to put them to bed. Just like children aren't they? Bless their little beaks.

We have sun, which was a nice surprise as rain was forecast Icy cold wind though. I can get out and work in the garden instead of the boring indoor jobs I'd planned

Good morning early risers club! I'm glad to see that spring fever is starting to creep in - there is no better feeling Baldrick has been out the back already "helping" by barking and digging. I think we should team him up with Loli's chickens and hire them out for an hourly rate! Hello Moira, I hope you have a lovely day and sorry to hear that you are in pain. My Aunt had this as well so I know how uncomfortable it is. I wish you well x Hope everybody has a good day, I have devised a gardening routine this week - because I look after Phil and I have a back injury, I do 4 x 15 mins out the back per day and that gives me an hour total. It's largely just sorting/tidying just now but I still love it Roll on spring and have a fab day everybody x x

Found another cause for my oedemas on my ankles..............Bronchostop pastilles been taking them for my cough. Read up the side effects this morning and it says can cause oedemas and breathlessness which I also suffer from. I shall have to read up on stuff BEFORE I start taking it. I have learned the painful way! Well at least I know now.
