What's all this Autumn business.........

Our leaves haven't started to turn yet, we haven't had any rain for a fortnight ( again ) and the temperatures still hovering around 18/20 during the day and 10/12 at night.

 

And it's past Michaelmas

 

Good morning,

It's quite grey here this morning, but it's not cold, we had a bit of rain over night.

I've got to work today & tomorrow, I hope to get a hour in the garden tomorrow, if I can just get the patio washed down & put the wooden table & chairs in the greenhouse for winter I will be happy.

Not much else to report.

@shiney please take it easy today & give your back a rest

Beckie and Shiney, hope you both achieve all you have set yourselves for the day. Wet and miserable here. Amber will have to skip her lunchtime walk and wait for her afternoon trip out when hopefully the rain will have stopped. If not we shall both get wet! Have a good afternoon all. xxx

 

Good afternoon fellow WW'ers

Grey and sunless outside and we've recently had a very heavy downpour.

#1 son has just finished his 2 hour "trial" on the job and gave me a quick call to let me know he's on his way home. He's now worrying he didn't talk enough (not usually an issue for him!) They have told him they'll give him a call either later today or tomorrow. Not too sure how to feel about that, but, there you go!

@moyra - hope you manage to get a dry walk out with Amber; the last thing you need with your cold and chest is to be out walking in the rain!

@shiney - speedy recovery vibes for your back and Best of British for your tournament tomorrow

Had an interesting (unsolicited) letter through the post today ... from Wales (!!?) ... waffling on about Wayleave? Think I need to do a bit of research on that one! Anyway, that will have to wait because I have other things to be getting on with today which take priority.

@Beckie76 - pleased to hear the Broodies have broken ... maybe now you'll get an egg or three before they go off lay for the Winter?

@wiseowl - your T'wit Cousins were very vocal in my area last night, it was lovely listening to them

@CanadianLori - hope everything is well for you over there?
