Morning all, over yesterday's migraine and raring to go! Might do another vacuum of the koi pond, plant my thai seeds and check my plants for white fly (actually dreamt my new lupins were covered in white fly!!! :roflol:)

Looking forward to reading what everyone else has been up to by the end of the day :)

      Good day everyone
@shiney perhaps some of the slabs inserted along the edge vertically would make a retainer?

@Snorky85 thank you for reminding me that I need to go down to the cellar and see if my lupines need watering. :)

I have some extremely busy days, at least 8 of them, ahead of me. New roof being installed, new siding, and therefore need to get the ladder out and take down my solar panels while the work is being performed and then I want to make a new hanger before putting them back in place. A new kitchen sink which I will help install. New CCTV to pick up in the U.S. and then install. New overhead fans in the greenhouses. Shuffling vehicles to and from the garage for services. And the list goes on. I will be spotty at best with my attendance here so please know that it is only because I shall be otherwise occupied. If everything gets completed as planned, I will be looking forward to a very pleasant summer indeed.

Please have a safe a warm day :)

The slabs are 2ft x 2ft so they'd have to be inserted quite deeply - and we have a cesspit drains at 18"!!

            Aloha everyone,

Yesterday was the first day of wet stuff from on high. We had half an hour of hail that did very little to wet the ground but enough, with the very strong wind, to chill the bones. So I retreated indoors.

It's a beautifully sunny morning but quite icy out. If it warms up I'll carry on with running chicken wire around the Shineyframes. In the meantime I'll go shopping, after the rush hour, as I need to get a lot of food for Saturday when I shall be cooking for the people at a workshop that Mrs Shiney is running.

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

Good morning everyone, well the sun is out but there doesn't seem much warmth behind it.
Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:

                Morning early people :)

Busy day here, running around getting materials to a new job, not finished the one we're on yet :yikes:

Have a good day everyone and don't stir your tea with the knife you just spread marmite with :eeew:

                  Good day everyone
I've got a little time before leaving to flip over the border so thought I'd visit for a few minutes.

I love my new kitchen sink. It is a 20 x 30 single bowl so I will now be able to wash my baking sheets and large pots with ease :) and yes, lots of room for flats of seedling trays too :blue thumb:

I believe I'm in the sunflower growing competition.By accident. There are rubbery looking seedlings coming up in the garden where they were last year so I am assuming the birds didn't get the lot and they have self seeded :) This is the area I intended to put my tomatoes so I'm hoping they get height fairly quickly and I can put the tomatoes between them. I planted my potatoes yesterday and sowed some other seeds because we are expecting rain tonight and I shall let Mother Nature water them in. All in all, managing to get lots done ;)

Have a safe and warm day :)

                                Aloha everyone,

Yesterday turned out to be a lovely day with nice warm sunshine and we got a lot done in the garden.

I won't have much time for gardening today as Mrs Shiney is running a health seminar and I'm doing the cooking as usual. Today will pay for our next break in the Lake District, after days of preparation and hard work :blue thumb: :hapydancsmil:

I'm also working on a series of bridge teach-ins that I shall be giving in the summer. PowerPoint presentations are nearly finished, hall hired and publicity going out next week. :dbgrtmb:

                                @wiseowl enjoy your festival. :)

Keep well and have a great day
