    Good morning
Well, our skies look like a chalk board that has been rubbed with an eraser that's never been cleaned. Lots of grey and dark but it is mild. It is 39f. And they are saying it will get much colder but remain cloudy and dull.

I've got my granddaughters coming back up the street to visit for the day so I need to get some activities organized for a part of the day. I do let them play "unstructured" for most of the time because I think kids these days need to have space to do their own thing and socialize.

I got some good buys on fabrics yesterday. One knit that I bought was "end of the bolt" and had damage here and there but I believe there is enough in the undamaged areas to get a nice top from it. It is a lovely turquoise. They gave it to me for 1/2 of the 1/2 off sale price :) I also bought some corduroy (sage green) as planned, some more knit (sage green) and a bunch of fleece (bold stripe). I'll make the fleece onesie for my friend but put off doing any more clothes for myself until I have the cushion work done. I've got 17 cushions to remake for an outdoor garden set and can use the income. Half of them will need new foam inserts and the other half need plumping and then I'm making new corded, zippered covers for all of them. Hopefully I'll get most of that done next week and then I can do something for me :)

The weather is predicted to be perfect for all of this indoor work and my cards tell me that a new work cycle is coming and not to let temptation for more fun things to interfere with getting work done. :nonofinger:

Have a super rest of the day!

Good Morning all. It might be brighter outdoors but it is still cold in this flat so have put the mobile gas stove on the warm us up. It's probably not that cold it is me being so tired that makes me feel cold.

Have a good day, wrap up warm and dry and above all stay safe and well. God bless. :wub2:

Hi Moyra & Upsydaisy, sorry I’m late checking in :spinning:

Weather here is cold & wet, I was going to trim my shrubs and small tree as the weather people said it was going to be dry today, I’m itching to sow my sweat peas but think it maybe a little early.

                what are you upto today?

                  Afternoon all :)
@moyra please make sure you have plenty of warm drinks throughout the day and some soup for lunch. Also maybe have a blanket of fleece to hand when you sit down. :spinning:

??? I haven't sowed any this year. But I normally sow all of mine in Autumn and yes they were scented.:spinning: I just sowed them and covered with fine mesh netting and left them in a very sheltered spot outside. Never bothered with using the greenhouse or cold frames for them.
